Achieve maximum potential.

Formulated with the ideal blend of lean protein, healthy fats, and digestible carbohydrates. At 460 Kcals/cup of energy, we give your canine partner exactly what it needs to achieve his maximum potential.

Balanced blend of fats and carbs

Our Field Dog formula has important health benefits, such as 85% Animal Protein to promote the development of strong bones and teeth, excellent muscle tone, a shiny coat, and firm consistent stools.

Consciously crafted without Peas and Lentils

Many pet food companies use peas as a supplemental source of protein and fiber but, what many dog owners don’t know, is that peas contain high levels of phytoestrogens which have been linked to a multitude of canine inflammatory diseases.

Sourced from Lone Star State

Texas Harvested Whole Ground Sorghum is included in our grain formulas to help control blood sugar. Gluten Free Sorghum is often recommended for dogs that are prone to food intolerance.

Plant and Vegetable ensures firm stool

American Orange Sweet Potatoes in our Grain Free Recipes. Domestic sweet potato helps increase your dog’s digestion, aiding in the absorption of nutrients. A plentiful domestic carbohydrate source that’s much lower on the glycemic index than potatoes.

Super Sport TR-33 Inside

Our unique proprietary blend of micro nutrients is specifically designed to promote healthier more active animals, naturally. Each ingredient has been specifically selected to work together in enhancing performance, helping your K9 companion meet their peak genetic potential.

Feeding Guide

Feeding Calculators

Use this calculator to help determine the suggested feeding amounts by formula for your specific dog.  Enter your dog's daily activity level for truly customized feeding recommendations.

1-2 times per week includes: Power Walking, Hiking or Jogging 3 miles per day.
3-4 times per week includes: Dock Diving, Agility, Obedience Training or Running 5 miles per day.
Working Dogs includes: IPO, Tracking, Military, Law Enforcement, Security and Protection Dogs.
When changing from your current food to a Sport Dog Food formula, slowly incorporate into your dog's diet over 10-14 days.  We encourage gradually reducing current food while increasing Sport Dog Food amounts.  The amounts suggested may vary according to age, weight, temperament, activity level, breed, and surroundings.

Also keep in mind that the feeding amounts of all Sport Dog Food formulas is typically less than the average dog food on the market as our kcals per cup can be 15-25% more.  Please pay close attention to your feeding amounts.  Compare the kcals per cup to your current formula and do not overfeed.  Accidentally overfeeding is a common cause of loose stool and eventually weight gain.  Be sure to keep fresh water available at all times.

Sportdog Dog Food never disappoints. My 1.5 year old Brittany Ember is a high energy boy. We run 8-10 miles every morning and he still wants more (walkies in the evening). He loves the Field dog formula - and so do I. Don't have nearly the amount of waste as other foods produced. Easy to digest. His coat is beautiful. I have been feeding this brand from the day I brought him home and look forward to many, many years of play and cuddles and walks with my best friend.
